My name is Antonio Balsemin. I was born in Castello di Arzignano (Vicenza) on October 23, 1939.
Since I was a young man I have been interested in everything. I wandered around the world for a bit and, to make my living, I have held many jobs. I have been living in Rome for thirty years.
Recently (after a talk with my mother in a dream on July 7, 1997), I have been committed to writing in my native dialect. I write my little stories in my taxi, between one fare and another.
In these stories, I recall my childhood and contact with animals and nature, writing novellas and revisiting the fables of Aesop and Fedro.
I hope I am doing something useful for my mother tongue and, I hope, I am providing pleasant reading in doing so.
